In 2022, Torgau hosted the 9th Saxon State Garden Show - an event that gave our town even more charm and quality of life. Since October 2023, we have proudly held the certificate as a family-friendly holiday destination!

Event highlights such as Elbe Day, the festival week of Protestant church music or the fairytale Christmas market have been a tradition for years. There is also a regular audience that comes to Torgau again and again for the International Saxon Singer Academy and various festivals. You should also make a note of the city festival “Torgau lechtet” with concerts, light installations and colorful market activity.
