The Electoral Rule at Hartenfels Castle from the mid-16th to the mid-17th century
The exhibtion „Torgau. Residenz der Renaissance und Reformation“ (Torgau. Residence of the Renaissance and Reformation) on the ground floor of the Albrechtsbau (Albrecht Building) transports visitors back to the period of electoral rule at Hartenfels Castle from the mid-16th century to the end of the Thirty Years' War (1618–1648). A select selection of objects from the Armory's rich collection, enriched by works of art from the Green Vault and the Museum of Decorative Arts, brings the splendor and wealth of the electoral court in Torgau to life.
One floor above, also in the Albrechtsbau (Albrecht Building) of the castle, changing special exhibitions on various themes are presented.
