The Saxon Main Stud Graditz was founded by Augustus the Strong. He commissioned his court architect, Daniel Pöppelmann, to build the stud farm. Extensive parks and paddocks with wide avenues, which provide charming views, extend around the castle and stable buildings. Tours of the stud farm, as well as carriage and wagon rides, can be booked through the stud farm administration.
