The Torgau Museum invites you to a very special exhibition during the 2025 Christmas season:

Under the cheerful motto ‘Tri tra trullala – Meeting of the Kasper puppets in Torgau’, the Bornsche Kasper and the Torgau Puppet Show come together in a colourful display full of nostalgia, craftsmanship and childhood memories.

The exhibition features lovingly crafted hand puppets, stage sets and stories about the most famous character in puppet theatre – Kasper. Visitors of all ages can immerse themselves in the fascinating world of puppetry and discover how puppet theatre has changed over time.

Accompanying events during the Christmas season:

  • 1st Advent – Sunday, 30 November 2025, 3 p.m.: Puppenbühne Pandel theatre company performs the classic fairy tale ‘Frau Holle’ at the Torgau Museum. Fun for the whole family!
  • 2nd Advent – Sunday, 7 December 20252 p.m.: Flashlight cellar tour for children at the Torgau Brewing Museum; 3 p.m.: Christmas cellar tour for adults at the Torgau Brewing Museum
  • 3rd Advent – Sunday, 14 December 20253 p.m.: Christmas tour with treats and history at the Torgau Museum – an atmospheric end to the Advent season.
