Katharina von Bora, once a nun in a convent, dared to escape on Easter night in 1523 with the help of Torgau councilor Koppe. Via Torgau, she reached Wittenberg, where she became a strong partner of the reformer Martin Luther. Almost 30 years later, stricken by misfortune and threatened by the plague, she returned to Torgau seriously ill. Experience her moving story and discover the historic sites on a guided tour.
